A bit of our story.
Victor — I got my start in content marketing as a freelance writer who worked with big and small businesses across Europe and North America.
(Well, that’s what I’m still doing today. Except that it’s now on a larger scale.)
My work got published in well-known mainstream publications like Forbes, Inc, Entrepreneur, The Next Web, etc. I also got the chance to write for brands like Moz, CXL, Search Engine Journal, Taboola, and many others.
Long story short, it was a great ride entering the industry. And as my brand grew as a writer, Premium Content Shop (PCS) was born! Now I have writers helping me to manage the workload while I focus on planning our client’s content marketing projects — From content strategy, creation, and distribution, to results. But I still write, too!
Rennie — I spent a couple of years running an editing business before joining PCS. I was an editor and proofreader for mostly B2B content writers in North America and Europe.
But I joined PCS because I wanted to be more involved in the content creation process and do more than “just editing.” This was mainly because I knew my skills surpassed that. Creating great content that’s relevant to readers begins way before the editing process — and I wanted to be a part of the “before” part.
Now, I get to manage all the operations and content at PCS as the managing editor. The goal for my editing business was to help writers create high-quality content frequently without sacrificing quality, and as the managing editor at PCS, that’s what I get to do every day.
